Focus on the target of low-carbon city and the problems in green building area, Urban Planning and Design Institute of BJTU will catch up with the current development trend of building information technology and industrialization. By a global and creative perspective and new technologies, it will explore ways to improve the performance and quality of building and overall efficiency in building lifecycle. Based on accumulate researches, current research focus on the following areas: digital building and technology towards digital information and new industrialization; parametric green building generated theory and overall design methodology; BIM based green building component data platform; integration design of solar energy and building using energy saving technology; green building standard in China and abroad, implementation and operation of green building industry, promoting the scale and normalization of current green building in China.
