Message from the Dean

Beijing Jiaotong University is directly under the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Education, China Railway Corporation, the Beijing Municipal People's Government to build the national key universities. As one of the three sources of Jiaotong University, Beijing Jiaotong University is the first university in China to cultivate management talents. It is the birthplace of modern Chinese railway management and telecommunication education. Beijing Jiaotong University led the "2011 plan" "Rail Traffic Safety Collaborative Innovation Center" is the first batch of 14 identified collaborative innovation center.

Beijing Jiaotong University, the School of Architecture and Design contains architecture, urban and rural planning, environmental design, visual communication design, digital media art five undergraduate majors. It has architecture, urban and rural planning, design three first-level discipline grant, architecture, Master of art and industrial design engineering three professional degree. The research direction focus on building industrialization, informatization and digital building, green building and ecological architecture, historical heritage and protection, transportation and regional urban planning, traffic space planning and design, digital design and virtual reality.

Beijing Jiaotong University Urban Planning and Design Institute relying on the Beijing Jiaotong University talent and technology advantages, after years of accumulation and development, our hospital has become a strong technical force, reasonable structure of talent, professional facilities complete, advanced design and quality assurance System and so on have reached the domestic industry with the advanced level of the Institute. As a design institute of combining production, learning and research, in addition to making outstanding achievements in design and teaching, it also has made outstanding contributions in scientific research. Our design team covers urban planning, rail transportation, architectural design, environmental art, digital media and industrial design and other professions, to form a complete design industry chain, in the eco-city, beautiful villages and green building design to form our own distinctive characteristics, but also to create a unique, unity and efficient, innovative thinking design groups at the same time. In the national exchange and cooperation, we follow the national strategy, launched for urban planning official training Angola, Vietnam, Uganda, Pakistan, Brazil, Peru and other countries. Recruiting from Russia, Mongolia, Vietnam and other "The Belt and Road Initiative" along National students more than 10 people.
